For as long as I can remember I’ve treaded the line. Lots of lines, actually. And that’s why it’s so dang hard to write an about me page.
I don’t really know how to package myself neatly because I do a lot of zig-zagging between a lot of things. Witty and deep. Craft cocktails and boxed wine. Feeling and thinking. Talking and listening. Local indie everything and a little bit of Ann Taylor Loft and Taylor Swift (sorry, haters).
But what used to be frustrating I’m now owning as my best currency-- fuel in the fire of my vocation. Wedged between all these tense places, I find words. I lean in and I hear bits of myself waiting to be exposed, unfolded, and held before the world.
If you follow along with me, you’ll probably hear a lot about my Scando-hip, tech-savant husband Tim, our two little boys, and our city, Minneapolis. While my babes sleep and my husband slinks into introvert time, you can find me daydreaming about words and sentences, the nearest craft anything (coffee and cocktails to be sure), and impending hangouts (or Google Hangouts!) with the wise, hilarious women I call my friends.
